Thomas Gordon brown, PhDCO-INVESTIGATOR

Thomas is associate professor (retired) in the Department of Psychiatry, McGill University, and adjunct professor at the Programmes d’études et de recherche en toxicomanie at UdeS. He is an addiction researcher and consulting psychologist. His research and professional consulting focus on the character- istics of specific substance misuse populations, the social, psychological, and neurobiological factors related to psychoactive substance-related road risk taking and injury. He was the Director of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Transdisciplinary Team in Driving While Impaired. He has authored more than 70 articles (h-index: 30).
