José Ignacio Nazif-Muñoz, PhD, is assistant professor, at the Programmes d’études et de recherche en toxicomanie, at UdeS, and holds a visiting scientist position at the T.H Chan Harvard School of Public Health. He has more than 15 years of experience in leading, designing, carrying out and evaluating research to assess the implementation of road safety measures in more than 30 countries. He has formally participated in several road safety legislation debates with policy makers from United Nations, more than 11 Latin American governments, and the minister of transportation and deputies at the Assemblée Nationale du Québec. He has authored more than 35 articles (h-index: 12).
